About Foster

Foster is my newest addition. I purchased him in March 2011 as a 10 month old colt. He is a KWPN registered Dutch Harness Horse gelding, by Whiskei out of the Keur, Preferent, Prestatie KWPN mare Etinkie (by Natuur). Foster has quickly become a farm favorite, with a “class clown” personality and desire to please. He really enjoys his work and aims to please. His harness breeding gives him a great quality trot, but his real gift is his exceptionally balanced, forward, big uphill canter. I’m very excited about the future for Foster, and can’t wait to see how he progresses in his work.

Foster got exposure to the show world in 2011 and 2012 at local Sport Horse Breed Shows, showing in-hand on the triangle. In 2013 he competed in Breed Shows in Dressage Suitability and 3-year-old colt under-saddle classes, and began preparations for next year’s USEF 4-year-old test.

In 2014, Foster will be demonstrating the progress he’s made over the fall and winter when he is shown at training level.
